Who we are
The name Noosa is derived from the Aboriginal word "Noothera" or "Gnuthera" in the Kabi Kabi language, which means "shadow" in reference to the region's large forests that provide protection from the sun's rays.
Noosa is also a special place, situated in one of only two Everglades in the world, where the inhabitants live with total respect for the incredible nature that surrounds them.
